The days of paperwork and analogue data collection are over – today, it’s all about digital, resource-saving solutions that create real added value for the environment and society. At Reclay, we have always been committed to innovative concepts that combine modern circular economy with digital progress.

An outstanding example of this was the Austrian app RecycleMich. Since its launch in 2021, we have worked with strong partners to establish a digital solution that rewards consumers for recycling correctly – simply by using their smartphone: scan the packaging, dispose of it correctly and collect points for attractive competitions.

After four successful years, the app was discontinued on 1 July 2025. But what has been achieved remains impressive:

• over 3 million disposable packaging items recorded,
• more than 130,000 tonnes of CO₂ saved,
• over 30,000 prizes for committed recycling heroes throughout Austria.
