The Dutch company Philips can look back on 95 years of history in Austria. On January 29, 1926, Philips Radioröhren GmbH was founded as a sales company in Vienna. Today, as part of the DACH market (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Austria is still an important location for Philips. In 2020, around 550 employees worked for Philips Austria GmbH at the headquarters in Vienna and the manufacturing site in Klagenfurt.
