Producers who do not have their registered office or place of business in the Slovak Republic are obliged to authorise an “authorised representative” to fulfil their legal obligations. The authorised representative may be a legal or natural person — entrepreneur with registered office or place of business in the Slovak Republic. On the basis of the power of attorney, the authorised representative is responsible for the fulfilment of all obligations of the manufacturer, who does not have its registered office in the Slovak Republic. If the producer of packaging (or even of non-packaging products) is also a producer of other reserved products (electrical equipment, batteries, tyres), we will ensure that the producer’s obligations are also fulfilled for these waste streams through our partner PRO.
