Reclay Group with new office building in Herborn

Reclay Group moves into former Herborn veterinary office – historic building in new splendour following extensive renovation and restoration work

The Reclay Group has opened its new offices in Herborn. As the previous office space on Kornmarkt had become too cramped, at the beginning of March the approx. 15 employees in Herborn at the group of companies in the area of environmental and waste disposal management moved into the elaborately renovated former veterinary office in Austraße, which in previous decades had housed an agricultural college. For the opening celebration on 10 May, the Reclay Group invited employees, neighbours, builders and architect as well as guests from the worlds of politics and business to a reception at the historic villa. Principal Town Councillor Ansgar Roth and Town Council Chairman Jörg Michael Müller congratulated the company on behalf of the town. Lawyer Joachim Wienecke presented an overview of the building’s history.

Hörbach children’s day-care centre Schatzkiste taking part in Reclay Group ‘trendy’ initiative

Collection of old clothes with ‘trendy’ at day-care centre in exchange for contribution towards facilities – materials for playing and learning raise children’s awareness of environmental protection, waste separation and recycling

“Open your sacks and off we go collecting!” is currently the order of the day at the Protestant day-care centre Schatzkiste in Herborn-Hörbach. Schatzkiste is participating in the initiative “trendy helps children – come and join in!” launched by the Herborn company Reclay Holding. In the initiative, children and parents collect unused clothing and – via a system of bonus points – receive a contribution to their facilities in exchange for the clothes. Fascinating ‘trendy’ materials for playing and learning provide the children with a wealth of information about environmental protection, waste separation and recycling. The project is centred on ‘trendy’ – a cheerfully laughing, stylised yellow sack who invites the children to join in.
