Reclay GmbH was founded in 2002 by Martin Schürmann and Raffael A. Fruscio and laid the foundations for the Reclay Group as it is today.

Reclay GmbH provides manufacturers and companies putting packaging into circulation for the first time with advice on the optimisation of their disposal obligations, and has enjoyed great success from the very beginning. Against the background of the amendments to the German Packaging Ordinance, the dissolution of the monopoly centred on the Green Dot and the emergence of the dual systems market, since 2002 the services provided by the company have become increasingly extensive, with the foundation of the specialist subsidiaries of the Reclay Group.

Today, Reclay GmbH focuses on the provision of consultancy services for associations, public companies and major market participants concerning issues relating to the German Packaging Ordinance. It also actively participates in advising committees on amendments to the German Packaging Ordinance.
